About

I am a team-oriented and creative aspiring Mechanical Engineer with global roots that extend the globe from Cairo and Dubai, to a humble coffee plantation in the Western Ghats of south India. It was through helping with my grandparents’ coffee harvests, that I first realized a love of mechanical engineering through hands-on work and creative solutions to plantation problems.

I earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at UCLA in 2018 where I was actively involved in the ASME chapter and Battlebots team. I have been living in the Bay Area since then applying my skills at driven startups focused on solving pressing and meaningful challenges in the energy storage industry, robotics space, and biotechnology and medical devices. I find my current spark at the intersection of life sciences automation and mechanical engineering in R&D environments.

I have developed a passion over many years towards engineering for social good through human-centered design principles and my passion for effective altruism and volunteering. It is my strong desire that my work is thoughtful, accessible, and makes a genuine difference where it matters.
